Hi,
I've done some measurements on the SB Acoustics “Satori” TW29R-B tweeter.
Details can be found here:
SB Acoustics “Satori” TW29R-B Measurements!
It's a nice looking and a very robust built tweeter and it has some good measurement performance to back it up.
The only thing I could wish for at this price range would be a slightly better consistency between the driver unit samples. On the other hand, I've only done measurements on two driver samples so I don't jump to any conclusions.

Thank you for the measurements.
How does it sounds in relation to the others SB tweeters ? I mean subjectivly.

Thanks for the article. I love this tweeter. It has plenty of detail but gentler than metal domes. More "musical." Best softdome I've ever heard. Even the cheap non-satori version sounds subjectively very good. I like the 92dB sensitivity which needs less resistor padding than the 96dB neo version with most mids.

I agree, it's my favorite soft dome thus far. Does everything right. I'm gonna try the 26adc on my next project and have high hopes for the metal dome, might even beat out the Dayton rs tweet as the best bargain metal tweet.
The SB29RD ...the cheaper version is very listenable and is probably better value, there is not much in it between the two, so it comes down to one's pocket money.

Hi,
Here's a comparison between the SB29RDC and the TW29R-B:
SB Acoustics SB29RDC vs. Satori TW29R-B
The SB29RDC is a very nice tweeter, but I haven't used the Satori in a design yet. The Satori has an even better distortion profile while the SB29RDC has more variation between driver samples.
Quality control cost some extra and if you want the last 10% of performance and can afford it, go for the Satori.

A lot like the peerless soft dome (now sold under scan speak auspices) with that top octave rise compensating for the off-axis rolloff. Nice drivers.
