Looking for a driver to cover roughly 100-500hz in an EQd 4-way, my reference as of now is the Faital Pro 15PR400, which delivers great results.
I just want to see if the grass is greener elsewhere 😀
So, maybe...
- Faital Pro 12PR300
- Beyma 15mi100
- 18sound 15MB700
Anyone compared to the 15PR400 of have comments about them ?

Looking for 10cm²/gram ratio or higher and the Ciare is one of them.
Also the 12PR300 is to be considered seriously.

Bought one for a project. Description is accurate. Right up there with the 10NDA610 I tried awhile back.
Sealed down to 100Hz, a 15" MidWoofer will perform better.
Your Faital 15P400 is an excellent choice for a sealed box MidWoofer flat to about 100Hz, keep it in your system.

Suggest you start watching the Swap Forum for Acoustic Elegance TD15M because the specs are excellent and word-of-mouth praise makes it worth an audition.

Sealed down to 200Hz, the lighter cone of a 12" MidWoofer will perform better.
Even with a Qts =0.22, the Ciare 12NDH-3 models well for -F3 = 200Hz crossover. A sealed rear volume of 0.5cuft brings Qtc close to Bessel Qtc = 0.577. Some clever bracing can also reduce box resonances.

BD Designs BD15 is superb for 100Hz and up (it can reach quite high, and is absurdly smooth) if you can still find a pair.
