Hi everybody, so I recently bought one of the new tpa3110 Bluetooth only boards that are circulating around eBay, the problem is that even though it seems a good overall amplifier, whenever you turn on the amplifier you hear a god awful Chinese lady screaming at you saying the Bluetooth device is "readi to pehr " and it made me sad because for around 5€ it's a really good ~8wrms solution for small diy speakers. I had the idea that maybe I could reprogram the Bluetooth ic and rid it of this curse but I have never seen one of these SSOP-28 ic before, mine came laser etched to hide the chip part number but I have seen the same board on eBay with the description intact and it says it a " JL" chip which I have no idea what manufacturer it refers to and the part number is AC1524E6M670-02A
Can someone shed a light on this ?

I have a smiliar board, where the BT-Chipset is a "JieLi AC4601", if you can get an SDK for it, then it might be possible. I searched chinese websites for over a week without any luck.
If yours work like mine, you can patch a USB-connection for DAC use to it. It's the 4 solderpoints on the bottom.
They may both be based on the JieLi AC515.

Many chinese speakers have this issue of angry broken english, due to this, whenever me and my friends want to use the speaker,I wait for them to conect before plugging the speaker in.Also no data on my chipset, but would love to modify it!

thanks for the help 🙂 it's a shame really, as it stands, these little bluetooth chips look like one hell of a gadget, USB DAC, phone capability, amongst other features, but hey, typical chinese way of thinking, exact same of the germans, while the germans give all the apples and let you figure out how to count them, the chinese prefer to give a slice of apple per person...
what i find the funniest it their attempt at hiding the IC's description (talking about chinese here... a bit ironic no?)
I am all too familiar with that lady.
If you figure out how to silence her, please let us know.
will do, it has to be a freaking way, it ruins the board completly, i have thought of something that might mute the amplifier until she stops speaking, it would be easy enough if only she didn't talk again after the "pehring" mode saying the the "bluetooth to bluetooth device is connectedaah sukcessfulleh"...

Because of all the "copycats" over there.. I got the exact IC number from the bluetooth stack and further from the USB vendor id when i tried the USB-DAC.

?
Well made some progress, i now know that they are actually AC4602 chips, if anyone understands Chinese ... AC4602????mp3??ic??????_??_????
I also say reference of a AC46 sdk so it must be out there

many more things are know now, mainly that the chip supports key buttons to change tracks, there IS a development program ( still didn't found it), it has USB DAC capabilities, etc
Schematic in readable format. AC4602 has FM capabilities. Are you sure it is the AC4602 on those boards ?
