Anthem Pre2L Special Edition...tubes?

This is my first piece of tube type gear, it replaced my Emotiva pre amp that I absolutely hated. Just didn't make good music.

The Anthem is so much better IMHO and I'm really enjoying the music again 🙂.

So I got it with Brimar EU88/CV5358 tubes and another set which is what's inside now, they are Russian looks like 7308/EI88C tubes.

I've been doing some reading and looks to me like these Gold Lion 6922/E88CC get favorable reviews and I was thinking of purchasing a set of 4, my first time to try tube rolling.

Just looking for some advice, comments on these.

Thanks Much,
David.

I can't comment on the ones you have now. But my recommendation would be to get some NOS or good used/tested Amperex "bugle boy" 6DJ8s or 6922s. (same thing) Every one I know that has tried them loves them. :hbeat:
