Once I tried using power lines to send network video content, it worked fine in the day time, but would not work at night. I discovered it was the lights causing interference.

(I continued to inform the management that I had been promised a sgl room, which the previous tenant still had not vacated. They simply refused to listen to me, appalling service level. Nowadays I have 14 rooms to choose from, but never know which is the right one)

How come no one sells a DSP DAC, which adds your choice of tube colourations by tube type, or SET, push pull, etc.
People don't mind other odd sounding DSP effects, Hall, Sports, Cinema, Music, etc., why not tubes?
Maybe an led screen to display your choice of glowing tubes?
Maybe no one wants a clean amp that's deliberately coloured at its outputs.
Maybe I should ask Synergistic to make one for me...

I remember when I first picked up a copy of Japan's Stereo Sound magazine at Tower Books back in the '80s (across from where Russ Solomon first started selling records in his father's drug store). Guys squeezed into tiny apartments with large horn loudspeakers and big equipment was the norm.
