That's star quad, not coax on the inputs, the coils on the board are part of a power filter
Paul
I am using nice quality coaxial on the input wiring of my F4, any reason I should change that to twisted pair (cat6 wire I have around.)

That's what I'm asking [emoji6]
Kind regards,

Why starquads if the signal is not balanced, why not a regular twisted pair?
Someone referred that to me....

And that is what I had in my parts bin. Waste not want not
me likeee signal through thin solid core ,that's why
try it and conclude with your own ear/brain combo
maybe you'll stay with coax, maybe you'll stay with thin solid core

....i would refer you guys to this video on eddy currents.....to explain ZM preference.

i have tried it and there is no way back for me.

Very interesting! We're going a bit off topic but would this apply to amp board to speaker output wiring as well? I would assume we need some beefier wire there to deal with power being handled.
many writings around about that , but most fun (at least for me ) one is certainly in Allen Wright's Super Cable Cook Book

use thin (up to 0.15mm) foil , wide as much you like

This is just an example. Use thin as possible and as wide as possible.

Idea is that all frequencies arrive from one end of the wire to the other at the same time.
Applies to thin solid wire and foil.
Double sided 2 inch tape is expensive but the foil has a a sticky side.
Check out wire wrapped wire. Cheap and sounds good. I've made speaker wire with it.
Great for signal wiring too. Does take practice to strip off jacket without knicking the wire.

That is what i use all the time....it's silver coated too !!! can't go wrong.

Got those too 😀😀😀
Ahhh Audio Religion finally surfaces... Even here.... Sigh.
Notwithstanding all this is in aid of replaying a 10$ copy recording 🙄

The book is based on theory and math. Actual physics. How about that.
Question about the PCB to RCA connection wire
I have some 99.99 % solid silver tonearm wire the gauge is very small
Would that be suitable ?
