My Arcam player won't read SACD's but will play CD's fine. I replaced the laser but still have the same problem. Any suggestions as to what the problem may be?

So if the player does not read SACD
the dvd Lens is not work Properly.
sacd player have 2 lens
When you put a disc SACD
What is written on the Display
?
Well this is strange; I just placed a dual layer SACD into the tray to confirm exactly what is written on the display, I think it said 'BAD DISK' but wanted to confirm. On loading it read the SACD layer straight away!
did you Remove from the new lens anti static solder point ?

Yes I did. It appears to be working perfectly fine now. Touch wood. Not sure why or how? Perhaps I just needed to turn it off and back on again!
On trying again today, it wouldn't recognise the disc again, the display reading 'Bad Disc'. Before I replaced the laser mechanism it would read the redbook layer. I ejected and reloaded the disc and it did read the SACD layer. Then it wouldn't. Then a couple more times it would again.
It should also be noted I sometimes have a minor fault on start up. It may start up and read 'Initializing', the display will then go off for a while before coming back on when it has read the disc. Other times when I switch the player on it will load as it should.
