This is very useful information about DIYINHK..I didnt think they would help me use jlsounds disply to control Diyinhk dac.
They will probably say I should buy jlsounds dac.
Diyinhk said that I need to use a micro controller to control I2c but they cant help.
They said (this is a diy project for you to enjoy)
Just another semifinished dac.. I thought his products are better then other Chinese crap..

Those boards works without any problem, this is significant difference between them and other Chinese garbage..
If you know what is maximum potential for AK4490, why dont you try to make new and better board for it..

No I am happy doing things with thi boards , I am not interested in building or designing a new one.
I was tempted to go for jlsounds AK4490 but went for Hiyinhk AK4495 because I read good things about there power suplies & jlsounds didnt do the AK4495.This is very useful information about DIYINHK..

I think its a good dac for someone with better programing skills than me to implement micro controller.

Not much, provide low noise shunt supplies cut traces to provide different supplies to different regions use separate output stage and if possible use mcu. And, what you do with those boards to reach maximum potencial..
Dave, if that jlsounds board that you bought works then, hurray, all worries are over. If not then..... Well.....I was tempted to go for jlsounds AK4490 but went for Hiyinhk AK4495 because I read good things about there power suplies & jlsounds didnt do the AK4495.

It is true because their layout and materials are better. Smd components are good and are not fake chinese rather original ones

I think that you don't know for sure that those boards not reach maximum potential..
You talking about mods, but you still didn't do any..

I will find out eventually..
As I said, you don't know for sure..
Maybe your eventual mods only ruin excellent products..
That is for me to determine isn't it?
And what excellent products did I ruin?
