hey guys. i have a EAW box for wich i am trying to find the replacement woofer.
i have seen this type of basket before in my life but cannot recall who makes this driver!
EAW is known to have sourced from various different brands for their boxes.
known info is:
12"
in 200w/250w range
2" voicecoil
impedance not known
help me find this driver!

ive fixed mackies srm450 before. that would explain where ive seen it! thank you very much.
power wise it probably is very close to the srm450 12". i will have to verify the impedance as i think mackie powered boxed had a funky impedance (do i remember 16 ohms?)
thanks!
case solved.

got the schemati of the crossover from eaw. it specs the woofer as the srm450 for this model of box (vr21)That may explain things, Mackie bought RCF a while back.

"Mackie Designs Inc. and Eastern Acoustic Works (EAW) Inc. have signed a non-binding letter of intent by which Mackie will purchase all shares of EAW. "
"RCF got pissed off at Mackie and during the merger, then the company bought itself back.
Apparently, they no longer supply transducers for EAW which is part of Mackie."
Tapco was also part of that group after Greg Mackie bought it back from EV (who he sold it to years ago).
EAW used to be the sole US supplier for RCF, I was buying on scheduled delivery
(with EAW) in the late 80's for a couple of different compression drivers and horns.
