Hi there every one, I have a pair of Fostex FE 167E in their BR enclosures, and although I an somewhat satisfied with its performance, I would like to have some more low end performance. Since I do not prefer BR can anyone tell me if there is any back loaded horn that works well with these speakers. I would like to hear them in such a design. Thanks in advance, Niksa, Dubrovnik.
Also look at MLTL? I never built one of that type for that particular driver, but there must be designs out there. Probably would have smaller footprint and overall enclosure volume than a BIB
FE167 should work well in Frugel-Horn XL
There are also a series of Chili big vent reflexes in the Frugal-Horn archives.
We did the Fostex BR for the FE167 (but changed the tuning a bit). It is a decent speaker but more can be gotten out of it.
