I am trying to simulate a simple 1" tweeter in a horn and I cannot find my error that is causing the HF rolloff. I tried to basicially eliminate the horn with an almost 180deg beamwidth but the 0 Deg SPL above 4KHz is still lower than the tweeter with no horn loading. I know I am doing something wrong but I just can't find it.

The conical horn profile is expanding too rapidly. Try the following:
S1 = 8.00
S2 = 12.00
L12(Con) = 0.50

That worked. Now I just need to go back in the direction of my desired horn directivity and frequency response.
Do you have any suggestions for reading material that summarizes HF horn design without the heavy math? Maybe something like "HF Horn design rules of thumb"? 🙂
