As mentioned in other posts I have built five Class Ds to date with two to go. Here is a 180W EAT T4 based map. The PS is rated 500W and though I used a large rec. bridge there is only one 15,000uf smoother cap in the PS. I did snub the cap. This brd. wil take AC or DC. There is a complete PS on board. You could make a very cheapand powerful amp with just a suitable tranny.
This board has the highest quality audio grade parts I have seen on all the boards I have used. It starts with M-Caps on the input. There are lots of poly caps and most important large heavy duty chokes on the rear. Again this brd. uses the IRS2092 gate controller. The real big plus for this brd. is it has speaker crowbar protection built right on the brd.
A friend used this amp to audition some $60K Verity speakers in his home and bought the amp on the spot. He previously had my Sure 100W Class D "Mirage" and traded up to this very impressive amp.
Again I have used a 2U 19" rack mount black stippled enclosure, RFI\EMI power filter, solid brass binding posts and gold plated heavy duty RCAs. This amp maybe the best sounding amp all round and that is why I'm building a second. I called the amp "Audiophile" because of the audiophile grade components on the T4 board.
