KD 503 comes up as a 2N3055 type clone by Tesla, with 20A Ic max.

I would think any quasi amplifier suiting common 2N3055 transistors will be fine. Here's something suggested for KD503s that anyone can find with Google in 1 minute:

The information obviously comes from hifi-forum.De. You would have to join that forum to request more details about their projects, though I doubt they actually have more than you can see in the thread shown here:
