Check out Tolouse Street from the Doobies. There best album in my opinion. Great recording.
I had both back in the 70's ...... both are great .
"The Captain And Me" is my Favorite though
However, if I come accoss a good copy of "Tolouse Street" I will surly get it. 🙂
Just got a great vinyl copy of....
Bruce Springsteen - Born to Run
It's # JC 33795.
There are few with that number and with the same label but, according to the info on the dead wax, it's an original '75 US pressing.
It's NM and sounds great. 🙂

Blue Rodeo - A Merrie Christmas to You.
A truly excellent Christmas album. My wife is a big Blue Rodeo fan and she can't stop playing it, despite the fact that the Holidays are over.

Just got an original '72 pressing of this 2 LP set compilation............
Billie Holiday - God Bless The Child .
It's NM and it's the mono release....... not the (awful) simulated stereo release. Mono is the only way it should be heard
For recordings that are about 75- 80 years old, they sound amazing!
Billie did not have strong voice and had a limited range but, what she did with it is remarkable. 🙂

Yes Joe,Mono is the best!!!!! (For any recording)
I got 3 records yesterday 🙂
1) Styx - Equinox (EXCELLENT -- I HAVE ALREADY LISTENEND TO IT)
2) Genesis - Duke (I have been wanting this for awhile)
3) Pat Benetar - Precious time (I have this on cassette also)
I do feel guilty however.... On my Styx Album is a sticker from a record store that used to be in town here and it has thier price listed... $6.99 and here I got it for 99 cents!!
I do feel guilty getting all this beautiful media for almost nothing,I feel like I am stealing it/not respecting it!!

Yeah, for some reason even at her lowest ebb, I was always more moved by the visceral emotion she could impart than by any of numerous more technically perfect contemporary voices in the genre
Robert Walter "Super Heavy Organ" 😀

When I opened this up on youtube, my thoughts immediately flashed back to that scene with Ray Charles in "Blues Brothers" -- "This keyboard doesn't have any life!"
Nothing beats a B3!

Actually, Billy was technically perfect in her own way.
In spite of her vocal limitations, she she had perfect pitch and never gave a hint of straining her voice.
Just got a pristine vinyl copy of .....
Santana - Caravanserai
It's an original '72 pressing with an orange Columbia label. 🙂
