Full Range Desktop Speakers - kit?

A lot of people have built the easy-to-make mini Karlsonator 0.40x scale speaker using a Vifa TC9FD and have unanimously liked the sound. It is small enough for a desktop speaker. The single sheet foam core version using score-and-fold technique for the top/bottom/back/baffle is especially easy and fast to make. Recently I found that the Faital Pro 3FE25 works really good in this box.

Paired with an inexpensive class D amp like the TPA3116D2 or even a 8watt TPA3110D2 (Sure $10) it sounds fantastic.

Very rich full bodied sound with great mids and highs. The polar directivity is also very good due to the Karlson aperture which forms an acoustic lens.

Ended up buying a pair of Alpair 6P for my desk and a pair of Alpair 10P to try at home. Put the Alpair 6 in ~4.3L vented enclosures. Was shooting for 4.7L, but forgot to account for volume occupied by the port tube in my haste to build. Turns out the smaller boxes will work better on my desk anyway, so no major loss (just ~2Hz F3 difference). Currently breaking them in at low nearfield volume with gentle music. They sound nice already with only seven hours on them.

Now what to do with the 10's?
