This software is in described French... so here's my French reply:

Oui ... ce est très agréable d'avoir, mais il est trop cher!

My message was an reply to @CC, if you care to adopt it just open your wallet a bit further.

You started a topic by searching to collect advices of DIY charge control.
This is not possible, your new choices is an advanced charger or to go for fishing.
And before you get me totally wrong, I would say that not all offered answers if for you, so to use.

Regards !

I bought this China "IMAX b6" some 3 years, ago. It costed me about $40 at eBay. I changed its awful connections and it worked OK for about 3 years, until one day their "inbuilt obsolescence timer" was activated and it was kaput! The only thing that now still left is their user manual, see attachment...
So, I gotten sick on spending big money on unreliable Chinese garbage, designed to break down at a specific time. La Grosse chargers seem to be worth the money.

Due personal significant research, about latest True fully-featured chargers with PC connectivity, my vote goes definably to the very specific Hyperion.
My plan is to get it and attach permanently my laptop to it so to create one serious battery station, capable for cell diagnosis and charging.
Regarding parts quality I have also collect proofs about that regard too.
