@ koutrou A custom hornflare for infrabass??? Any idea how huge a horn will become that is capable to reach down in the infra range, so below 20Hz???

yeah huge 1.90 meters width, 70 cm height and 1.00 meter depth (without custom hornflare), sure below 20 hz.... i will make only 2 subwoofers so i want powerful cabinets.....

see some examples of hornflare : http://ziogiorgio.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/MoS1.jpg , http://www.funktion-one.com/dl/files/SoundServies Infra.jpg

HMM, the Function-One Infra is only a short Horn to increase the output of the
FO-218Infras Subs at around 33 Hz . They do say it gives you 10 dB More at this frequency, but I do doubt that this small Horn will increase the performance below 20 Hz.
For example a BigBertha (EAW-BH882, 2X18 HornBass) with a Levan Extension that have nearly twice the size of that FO-InfraHorn will work down to 28 Hz, with a bit equing and the right room maybe 25 Hz! And promissed 20 Hz or below is another big step!

yeah i know this design, works very good, also i have a very good idea with small changes to EAW-BH882 cabinet with 1 woofer for 2 ways hornloaded i cant explain you it but when i will make original plans i will shown it to you.....

whats your opinion for this cabinet ? Super Bass Horn V.02 by Startec (Quad Acoustics-F) - Speakerplans.com Forums - Page 1

Hmm, SuperBass Horn v.02...... another Horn that is not able to work below 20 Hz.
And by the way, I have asked you so often what you want to do with that ,,InfraHorn"? Okay ElectroPopParty, but how big? 20 Friends in the living room or 5000 Partypoeple Open Air. And as long as you dont give me even such little infos about what you intend to do, I am outta here!

I want it for partys, 150 - 400 people. I ordered 2 21Pw1400Fe (1 of the most powerful subwoofers), 2 Beyma 15P80Fe (most powerful midbass) and 2 Beyma CP800Ti (most powerful 2" driver)....

ipal drivers are only availeble for oem.and you need the powersoft ipalmod amp to drive it (also only oem)
eighteensound 21nlw9601 and the 21nlw9001 or 21nlw4000
b&c 21sw115 or 21sw152
the rcf and pd drivers mentioned above are also verry good.
you could consider using a double 18" for the price of one 21 "

edit/18sound21lw2500

yes i know but with 1 21" avoid more amplifiers and cabinets....

He you allready found the most powerfull stuff yourself, so I am sure you will also find the most powerfull x-overs! 😀
My plans full hornloaded for 21" file:///C:/Users/%CE%94%CE%B7%CE%BC%CE%AE%CF%84%CF%81%CE%B7%CF%82/Documents/%CE%94%CE%B7%CE%BC%CE%AE%CF%84%CF%81%CE%B7%CF%82/%CE%B4%CE%B9%CE%B1%CF%86%CE%BF%CF%81%CE%B5%CF%82%20%CF%86%CF%89%CF%84%CE%BF%CE%B3%CF%81%CE%B1%CF%86%CE%B9%CE%B5%CF%82%20-%20video/speakers%20-%20clubs%20-%20festival/1%29%20shmadika/Beyma%2021Pw1400Fe/my%20Box.jpg

Hi Koutrou,

You designed a horn with "one hand clapping sound" the front and backwave will cancel each other out in between dipping and combfiltering the null out of the efficiency. If i may suggest. Speakerplans would be a good start for your project. Lots of good and proven PA designs with several options for drivers. Hope this helps finding the most "powerfull" sound.
