i'm trying to purchase an output transformer and the company, edcor, needs the wattage, input and output impedance and, whether push/pull or A. the wattage is 12.5, output imp. is 8 ohm, and, with (2) el84 it would be push/pull. however, i have no idea what the input impedance would be.
thanks,

Yes,
Note that 8K Zout is recommended for 2 x EL84 in Push Pull with a B+ of 300V.
This is what transformer manufacturers will call Raa (Resistance - Anode to Anode)

Most EL84 Guitar Amps run B+ higher than that 300V and so using a 10K transformer instead of an 8K is a good idea.

Should You change your mind "down the track" a transformer with that specification would also suit push pull 6V6.

I use these for EL84 and 6V6 Guitar Amps.
86PP output transformer

They are a medium quality HiFi transformer , which means they are great for Guitar. The primary has Ultralinear taps but you just leave them unconnected.

Cheers,
Ian

ian: thanks for that info. i really appreciate it. i learned something new today. now, once i get it, i'll have to figure out what wires go where but it looks like two wires will go to pin 9 on each 6bq5, if i'm reading the schematic correctly. there is no OT in the amp presently.
