In the last months I got few requests for our R-2R volume controller so here we go. :)
Please note this is ONE TIME GROUP BUY. I'm quite tired after last Shiga MKII, so please bear with me.

Group buy target is minimum 50 pcb boards in order to get them in production at a decent price. List will be open for subscription till 31. August.
Payments 1st September - 15 September. Shipping starting with 1st November.

Please do not subscribe if you do not intend to honor this GB.

Specifications:
– low tolerance 0.1% R-2R network with melf resistors
– attenuation in 64 steps - each step 1dB
– Input resistance ranges from 20k to 1M for a Rload of 1M.
– Output resistance ranges from 9.75k to 10.5k.
– 4 selectable inputs with option to edit input name
– one direct input
– Infrared RC5 autolearning (can be used with any RC5 compatible universal remote)
– display back-light programmable On/Off - if Off timeout 10s
- large display characters for wide view
– tube menu for delaying plate voltage
– two open collector outputs for power On/Off and tube plate delay (see schematic J7 connector)
– AC power consumption, Max. 6W

All boards are gold plated, 75um Cu, white soldermask. See below attachments.
I'll offer this in three variants:
1. bare pcb - no parts / 25 euro
2. bare pcb board with programmed microcontroller / 35 euro
3. full mounted and tested / 149 euro

For option 1 and 2 shipping price is 8 euro world-wide.
For option 3 please see shipping prices up to 1Kg

Full mounted board come with 40cm ribbon cable soldered on both sides, Takamisawa relays, Vishay 0.1% MELF resistors.
All boards come with pre-programed microcontroller and will display <diyaudio> at each very first start, uless you order a custom firmware.

In case you want custom name on display please add 10 euro to your order.
If you intend to use this project for multichannel, you can extend up to 8 stereo channels (16 mono channels or 8 balanced channels). Please note that multichannel may require special firmware and extra parts including a modded power supply.

Really glad to see this happening after so long awaited! I'm interested to order a balanced stereo version also, which I understand that 2 relay boards are needed. How would I need to fill in the form? Thank you.

In case you want to build yourself, than select one PCB + microcontroller and one simple PCB.
In case you want a fully tested pcb, than see last column F.

Tibi

Yes, price for balanced stereo is 268euro and you can get the price by holding the mouse over the column name in the spreadsheet.
The spreadsheet is open to everyone for editing without authentication. Please do not alter the file other than adding your name and number of boards you are committing to buy.

I'll write prices here again for record:
1. bare pcb - no parts / 25 euro
2. bare pcb board with programmed microcontroller / 35 euro
3. stereo full mounted and tested stereo / 149 euro
4. balanced-stereo full mounted and tested / 268 euro

Tibi

Further clarifications about what you need.

Case 1. You want to build your own STEREO Volume-Controller. You know how to flash your Atmel. In this case all you need is a bare PCB.

Case2. You want to build your own STEREO Volume-Controller, but you don't know how to flash your Atmel. In this case you need a PCB + microcontroller.

Case 3. You want to build your own BALANCED STEREO Volume-Controller.
You need two bare PCB boards, in case you flash yourself the Almel, or one PCB+mico and one bare PCB.

Case 4. You want to buid your multichannel 7+1 Volume-Controller.
You need 4 bare PCB boards, in case you flash yourself the Almel, or one PCB + micro and 3 bare PCB boards.

Case 5. You want to build your balanced multichannel 7+1 Volume-Controller.
You need 8 bare PCB boards, in case you flash yourself the Almel, or one PCB + micro and 7 bare PCB boards.

Tibi
