Maybe this way.... 20K plus 20K microfarads
the one belong to the Dx amplifier, the standard one....you can see in Greg Erskine pages:

Hello mister sandbagujar
Carlos does not like to design layouts jejejejeje I be happy to help you out but I need to know how many caps you want it to use and also what type of diodes you want to use on your design, single diodes or full wave bridge rectifier type, let me know when you get a chance 🙂

Hello vargasmongo3435 Thanks for replay. I am going to used 30-0-30AC 200VA Transformer that means 15000-18000uF of total capacitor is required if my calculation is right need power to one channel of dx or dx Blame ST. I want Full wave bridge rectifier(Package / Case: GSIB-5S) on PCB.
Thanks

For two channels or for 4ohms speaker double it to +-40mF.

Hello AndrewT
Can you have PCB layout of PSU for One channel to DX or DX Blame ST.It means I have to Used 2/10000uf filter capacitor in supply.
I do have some DX PSU PCBs. They all have 4 locations for smoothing capacitors.
I generally hardwire my PSUs, gives lower loop area, for improved performance.

Hello AndrewT
Can you give their Layout to me
..............Can you give their Layout to me
They were DX PSU PCBs, I don't have designs for PSU Layout..................I generally hardwire my PSUs, ............. for improved performance.
Most that I have seen on the Forum, I have criticised for basic layout errors, that compromise performance.
How about one of these?
1pc 6 10000uF 63V Amplifier Power Supply DIY Kit PCB | eBay
They also have one that uses two bridges if you prefer. There are similar types with less caps though you can install fewer on these also.
Blessings, Terry

Nice this one...impressive they can make so low price
Almost unbelievable they can do this...very cheap..and good capacitors.... high cost these 100V units...high capacitance.
Impressive..no one can compete with these guys...impressive!

Carlos

Sorry, I posted those from my tablet. I didn't realize what thread we were in. I think it should be noted that these recent offerings will not do the same thing the DX adjustable supply does. They are just straight forward bridge/filter supplies.
