I have been through the whole post, still haven't managed to find a picture of the chassis. Could anyone direct me to it?

Hi Andrej, did you send invoices already to this group buy? If you did, I haven't receive one.

Tomorrow the package envelopes will be received, I'll measure the weight so postal costs can be calculated and proformas for PayPal payments could be send out.

In the first batch 200 modules will be ready this week, now I am quite sure the payments can be started without any risk.

I've got very nice chassis today, tomorrow I'll post images and price.

Chassis is big enough to accomodate two Hypex SMPS1200A400 or one Connex SMPS2000R.

I'll assemble demo amp with Connex SMPS since this is the best power supply for the First One amplifier up to now.

First One chassis C1

Hi GB members!

Here's C1 chassis for stereo First One amplifier.

Dimensions:

Width: 440 mm

Height: 70 mm

Depth: 310 mm

Silicon pads for bottom feet are included.

Price 300 EUR net for end user.

First One module has best possible position in the middle of heatsinks, very good pasive ventilation thanks to optimal air gaps perforation openings positions.

C1 chassis enables max power dissipation ie. max output power from the First One modules at +/-63 V regulated SMPS.

Also enables use of two SMPS1200A400 (Hypex) or two DPS-500 (Audio Power) or one SMPS2000R (Connex), free selection choice left to GB members.

Top perforation air gap inserts can be natural silver, red or blue.

C2 and C3 chassis will follow soon.

This might be the place for a toggle on/off switch.

The information is all on this thread, so you could easily do the math, but since I just did it too, here it goes:

300 € for the chassis, 172 € for the two FO modules, only 1 connex smps2000r is used for both channels, at today's exchange rate 173€
I'd say that shipping for such a case and modules should be around 30€ if using post and 50-70 if using a courier. So in the end you should have something around 800€ after you buy the in/out connectors, wiring, IEC module, etc.

A really nice price if you consider such an amplifier would cost at least 3000-6000€ at a retail store
