Woofer What To Do?

thanks Inductor & cT,

I had wondered about the HF wiring, so by passive bi-amping the HF circuit remains untouched. one amp connects to the hi pass and tweeter, the other to the low pass inductor and in series woofer, inductor, woofer (see attached picture).

is this correct? View attachment 409471

The connection of the mono amps to the speaker system is correct. But I don't comprehend the connection of two separate lines from the preamp to the mono amps. I would expect a common line (wire) that is either left or right channel from the preamp connected to input of the two mono amps.

The two wires connecting the source to the preamp represent feeding left and right channel signals to the preamp, is that correct?

Hi cT,

You are right. My mistake.

Only one output per channel leaves the pre amp, the additional mono amp is fed from the shared out (Daisy chain) on the first amp.

Two wires from source represent L and R. Should only show one in this mono illustration.

During this 'what if' excersize I have been reading about digital crossovers, and the bennifits from biamping
'Properly'. I have ordered a basic digital crossover from behringer (cx2310) to try out. This is only a 2 channel plus sub so won't help with the dual woofer plan.

Thanks for your advice.
