Pictures start here

August 16th in the usual place. (up the mountain in Victoria, BC out in the forest at my place of residence/workplace)

Being #11 we keep getting more organized each year.

Some people have been making this a weekend long affair so we expect some people to arrive Friday and not leave till Sunday.

People camp, stretch out on the deck, or claim floor space in the living room.

Oh my, 11th already. 11 years. Y-e-a-r-s! I have to make it out there. I got very close to visiting July, 2011, as close as Goldstream park. I married in Nelson and went on a honeymoon road trip to the island. My wife was eight months pregnant and wanted to stop at the park for a rest before heading up to say hi. There was a bunch of crying,then she fell asleep on a bench and I watched eagles, until I fell asleep. We slept for five hours. We had to leave so we could make Vancouver by nightfall.

Hi Jeff,

Perhaps one of the Southern Cousins could bring one of their Main Battle Tanks. I don't know about the 200 Per Center, but I think Kev's is ready to roll. In the States, most guy's do their Heavy Armour Maintenance in the late Spring, so it's hard to know how many would be fully operational at this time. In the small town I live in, I'd be surprised if any more than 20 Tanks or Mobile Howitzers are at 100% readiness!

Some a hole has them on my stolen laptop( we had a break-in), but here are a couple boy pictures.

Too funny, been scanning a pile of family photos, and the bathtub shots of the kids are always too much fun

If I thought there was any chance they'd ever see this, I might be worried, but that's no gonna be a problem
I was never quite sure about why the goggles ... 😉

What do you mean: "why the goggles?"
The "real" question is "why not the goggles!" All of us youngsters know that sometimes it's just a cool thing to do!
