it's strange what boredom and the Movie Channel will deliver into your lap - and particularly when you've missed any advance publicity and have no idea what to expect
-delightful quirky little romance:
"Giant Mechanical Man" - quite liked Chris Messina
-will definitely leave a weird aftertaste:
"Compulsion" (2013 Heather Graham / Carrie-Anne Moss)

I am watching the waves roll in to Kamaole beach II on Maui.
I take it you enjoy reruns.
I take it you enjoy reruns.
Like the flames of a fire, no two are ever the same.
Made it home safely and am appreciating the extra layers of clothing and the warm...
uh... let's just leave it there.
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
* I watched it in 3D; I was there, at the heavy metal music concert, five feet from the band, with the band. And at the exact same time I was also in the audience,
best spot with the most gorgeous girls.
What else can I say!
Last night ::
I have a different outtake on that flick than the average reviewing population.
About you, didn't you see it, and what do you make of it?

I am watching lame commercials on the SuperBowl. They were better in 1999 and 2000 but now the suits have taken over.
Didn't find Shame that good, but Fassbender is a great actor, especially in Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds.
Been catching up on Breaking Bad, Sherlock (awesome), and started Game Of Thrones and Black Mirror.

I agree, 'Shame' is kind of lame. ...I re-watched it mainly to analyse some more the cameraman's compositions (cinematography), and also the surround sound mix.
...Some interesting snippets on both counts. ...Artfully created.

"Weather Channel" -- do you folks in Europe get blizzards?
Hahahahah!
Just skimmed through the thread again. Hilarious.
It is my understanding that what is dramatically reported as a blizzard over there is really not worth mentioning at all here. I guess the biggest problem over there is not being used to drive on icy slippery roads, and no infrastructure to deal with the snow, even if it is an infinitesimal amount.
Note that this is only what I've seen on some weather reports. Most of my views regarding this are based on assumptions, pictures accompanied by drama may not project the true story.
Anyway, speaking of weather reports:
[x264+FLAC]Weather Report - Live At Montreux 1976
Well recorded live show. Note the BOSE PA setup. File weighs in at 1.28GB.
Will check out the Future Folk thingy, looks interesting.
