Excellent. I've been enjoying the DCB1 mez ( which I still need to post pictures of ) so much I figured it's time to resurrect my record player. Will need a phono preamp to do so.
Something tells me this question has many versions in many threads, but; Should 1 or 2 raw PSU boards be used per build?
1 can do 2 channels.
Thank you Tea-Bag. I've amended the sign-up sheet accordingly.
Hey Salas - I was planning on using the phono pre for more than one combination of components. Seems this was a bad plan ( if I've read 493 correctly ), as one combination would be phono pre -->DCB1-->ACA-->93dB speaker ( probably closer to 94 ), and the other would be phone pre -->BA-3FE-->F4-->93 dB speaker. Seems I should choose to build the pre for one or the other. So the other variable would be the cartridge, which I have to keep under $100 due to budget constraints. Was planning on getting a Shure M97xE, unless further research on DIYA steers me in a different direction. Seems I have to commit to a cartridge before building the phono pre. I know basically nothing about the two record players in my house, unfortunately.

I suggest you save for a little more and you buy a Denon DL-110. $136 on Amazon is the indicative price. It is a much better HMC type and you should build for 43dB gain.
Hows the GB looking now Mike. Need many more?
No, not many more. Salas and I already started to discuss this.
This GB will start to close and require payments on Feb 2nd, and last day to pay up will be Feb16th. My usual two weeks fair notice. if you think you'll be away before then send me a PM and I can do an earlier invoice, but I try not to do that, because actually prices have a tendency to move last minute as I take ordered parts demand and actual shipping costs into account.
Still on a quest for getting 2SA970BL in larger quantities and matched up.
No promises. But it will make a sweet little add on for everyone.

Turbon they are an alternative for the BC550 in Q3.They do have better specs.
Thanks Marra. In that case - I want them😀

They are a replacement for on of the BC560C, both PNP type devices. But only one of them, the one that fits into the Q3Z position, instead of the Q3Y position. Please see the notes from the build guide.
I'll have to do the phono preamp next time around. Can stay on for the BiB. The tax man cometh. 🙁
Will "extras", ie 2SA970, diodes etc be in the sheet as well or does it take special treatment?

The diodes are already in the sheet if someone wants them.
The 2SA970BLs need to be measured and vetted first.
They are likely not fakes, but I want to do my best to ensure that. Curve tracing batch with older batch should tell me what I got.
