does anyone have the pcb for this schematic
or to suggest some complete filter for subwoofer
Subwoofer Filter, Gainer, Auto Power System - LC Audio
www.lcaudio.dk/pdfs/subfilter.pdf
i need Gain x10-15max, Auto Power System
cut off
this will be for amplifer with 2x TDA7294 in bridge mode

someone to help me, to give me the pcb layout of this
or to give me simular design for bass cut off, gain, soft start,... and auto power on

I am a big believer in sub-sonic filters, which, of course, must be quite sharp. But since getting a Behringer DCX2496 digital crossover recently ($220 on eBay), I view circuits like that as obsolete and certainly not worth the great effort to build 'em instead of buying something (including modifying an existing analog electronic crossover).

yes i know that, big companies have xxxxx peoples behing that, and ingeneer to test it byt
im hobby entysiastic who wanna build something, i only dont have some big expirience to design the pcb

I see.
I've made a lot of little things using various breadboarding boards, some ready-made for IC sockets and related components, some just with a million holes in rows.

For a number of years my sound system had a plastic push in protoboard with a state variable filter right out of the big National Semiconductor book as a crossover.
It worked just fine.
And I liked it.

Hi the partial pcb link

somakmaitra thanks a lot
one more thing before go to buy the components
the capacitors what should be voltage,

so LC Audio's original subwoofer Xover/EQ from 2003 actually works
nice to know, thanks 🙂
and btw, it has one special feature many commercial sub plateamps never have or had ... a possible higher 300hz xo point
nice to know, thanks 🙂

But why would you want a sub that went uo to 300Hz? You would localise it.
Also, it seems to be missing a left/right mixing section. Maybe it's designed to connect to an LFE output of a receiver, but they are usually filtered already anyway...
would it be ok to remove output buffer with phase control ?
Yes, but you would need to retain the 10u, 4k7 and output resistor (301, I would use 100 ohms).
thanks Rich
yeah, I know
I just remembered this from a time when I wanted to use plateamps for the woofers in 3way speakers with passive xo
but this time it is for a mono sub
and will be crossed low 😉
it is supposed to work for both music as well as bass guitar
the Eq is to get the woofer low enough for music/hifi
but will be switched off when plying bass guitar through it
at least that is the plan 😛
I'm working a stereo classsD amp right now
and if I can find enough space for the controls, it might be mounted directly as part of a 'sub out'
but will probably be better to mount it in a preamp instead
a multipreamp for both stereo music, and instrument(bass guitar)
that will be next project

OK! Don't forget to add a left and right summing op-amp. I recommend an inverting type because it avoids any interaction between channels. I have a full design on my website for a sub controller, but there is no EQ which I think you seem to want, and no auto power on detection.

looks to me like you do the summing with voltage deviding resistors ?
btw, my planned setup ... more or less (possible preamps not shown)

hey, it would be easy to make it a 12db stereo filter for the woofers in a 3way
special woofer output for the preamp project 🙂

special woofer output for the preamp project 🙂
only one thing its on my mind for now
the size its not right
6950mil x 1780 mil
i should buy the components and then print the pcb based on there size

I sure hope not 😱😀
based on looking at board with mounted components ...
I would say it looks more like 195 x 78mm ... or maybe it is 6.960" x 1.780" (inch)
