Yes it handles furnitureAgreed. And, I've got those same handles (or pulls) on my kitchen cabinets.
Thanks! That's some very stylish chassis work, Professor. It looks like a piece of test equipment belonging in a physics lab. I like it! Well done.

"Abstinence" - 6EM7 power amp
This is the forth of my 6EM7 power amps: one pair of monoblocks (Paris Duo), Integrated dual mono construction with a single stage 12AU7 preamp (Paris), power amp on an Acacia chopping board (Arabella) and now this under-stated sexy power amp - Abstinence.
First time I have used a 6uf motor start as first cap and a different wiring layout. Also two large Chinese made 15W OPTs (under the bonnet) - could be the secret of this one's great sound. Base is Murboo, paint is Epoxy Enamel with Hammond power tranni and 20H\100mA choke, tubes Sylvania NOS.

I have heard that motor start is not good for audio application. Motor run is a better choice isn't it?

Bro! That's SICK!!! Especially the Nixie tube...I love it! Looks nice and functional. all the components have a purpose and not just for show.
I'm in awe of the level of talent on this forum. Having none myself I recently bought a Shuguang Classic S8MK KT88 integrated. My idea was to use it, on occasion, for variety spelling my Bel Canto mono blocks. The problem is, I love it's sound so much, that the Bel Canto's have been retired to the basement. I bought the Shuguang from Grant Fidelity on closeout. I wasn't expecting anywhere near this level of performance at the price I paid. Now, I'm seriously thinking about having someone do some modifications to try and take the amp to another level.

Very, very nice. Love the Nixie!
Because I cannot use the Sophia rec tube I wanted I have replace the motor start cap with a 20uf \900V electro (snubbed). Forgot to mention above, as usual, there is also an onboard mains power filter.
