Google shows $1499 for a pair, and reviews say they overheat. Are them a good investment for 1700$ ... a pair of jbl prx625

The JBL PRX 625 is a powered speaker, the amps are built in, no additional amp would be used.
Whether they are a good investment would depend on how much money you can make using them and how long they last, which depends on how hard the usage is.
Okay , so what do you suggest me for 1700$ (Pair dual 15")and lot of power and air mouvement , chest compression but pa speakers... Its for a living room.. And dubstep music usage 🙂 thanks
Dubstep goes low, the PRX625 don't, they roll off below 60 Hz, and are -9 dB (sounding about half as loud) at 40 Hz. Some chest thump, but no pants leg flapping experience.Okay , so what do you suggest me for 1700$ (Pair dual 15")and lot of power and air mouvement , chest compression but pa speakers... Fairly typical for a PA type dual 15", they are probably about as good as any for the price.
I'd suggest looking at real subwoofers and small top cabinets, but don't have any specific model suggestions in your price range.
I have a pair of these for sale:
FREE SUB PLAN: Dual Lab12 (Front Loaded) by Welter Systems
If you are in the continental USA I can pretty much guarantee they have more LF output per $$ shipped than any commercial offering.
The 2x15" would have more chest thump, these have more low bass.

The low note on a a four string bass is 41 Hz, a five string bass goes down to 31 Hz.
The CVP2153 rolls off at 48 Hz, a little better than the JBL, but still not low.
The cheap dual 15" PA speakers cross over to small diaphragm high frequency drivers, the 15" is running too high to sound very good in the mid range.
Going with real subwoofers (most cheap PA subs don't go much lower than the CVP2153) and smaller tops (10" or 12") will give better bass and midrange.

and , i should buy a powerred sub or an unpowered? because i already have a behringer inuke 3000 dsp but people had told me that this amp wasnt good for subs, is that right?
thanks !
thanks !
The Inuke 3000 won't sustain it's power rating for long durations, but may be fine for your use, and has more power than most "powered subs".and , i should buy a powerred sub or an unpowered? because i already have a behringer inuke 3000 dsp but people had told me that this amp wasnt good for subs, is that right?

On paper, it has more power than the amp I used to power my Lab 2x12"s.
The Cerwin Vega TS-42C horn sub looks to be similar to the 18" versions, the horn path length is simply not long enough to go low.
As far as top cabinets, the Behringer B112D would be worth auditioning for the price, there are some decent EV, Mackie and JBL of similar format that all would work too, but may cost more than your budget would allow.
