You have nothing to change in the circuit, just adapters for 6SN7 to 6922 or use noval bases and rewire properly by comparing pin outs.
If the pot is first in a line preamp then its the one that defines its input impedance. If it has other circuitry before it no. With the power off, volume full up, and a DMM on input RCA of a line preamp you can have an idea by measuring kOhm in most cases.
The adapters have to be like these eBay.es: vacuum tube adapter 12AU7 to 6SN7 en venta. Compra vacuum tube adapter 12AU7 to 6SN7 al mejor precio
If they don't have 4&5 already shorted then will do for 6922 too. You better ask they are absolutely compatible for 6SN7 to 6922 too.
Salas I listened a couple of hours the Itch with the changes of 18K in place of 47K as load resistor & the cathode diodes and now is sounding plenty of power in my mu-follower headphone amp, next week I will listen the #26 to see if is enough gain with my Wilson Audio Cub 94dBs. Again a great design, thanks to share and all help received to make it possible & enjoy it.🙂
Salas I change output caps Mundorf Silver Folg oil 3,9uF in place of Auricaps 3,3uF, whow what change.....

Thanks Salas. Today listened the Itch with the #26 I don't need more gain about SQ is very very good sounding I'm amazed and can't imagine the great sound that now I'm enjoying all thanks to you (design & support), Itch + #26 is an unbeatable combo....
Salas changed diodes, repaired SSHV2, very high difference in SQ using active vs passive PSU.
Of course. Even in a high gain circuit that could allow one cell RC psu only, without hum or buzz, due to its inherent psrr.
There are many ways to skin a cat and when the technically sound goals like no ripple to speak of and steady B+ are met there will be solid arguments against more "exotic" circuits just to do a simple job. Maybe because the practical circuits are large loop areas with many extra vulnerabilities, the wide low impedance output of a shunt helps more than predicted somehow. Just maybe. But if you feel it does good after your own experience to a low power simple circuit, and you don't mind the building and the dissipation, there is no reason to stop you using it, its a hobby not the Samsung production budgeting department.
I haven' any kind of doubt about your SSH2 improve the SQ.
What's your point of view regarding criogenically treated tubes?

I had some and I did not find any real clue they were positively different. Maybe doing that to their parts alone before assembly could be beneficial but I am afraid more of the procedure stresses that can bring to an already structured tube.
