"treated with special pigments" - magnetic ink like old bank checks?

I especially like the "increased conductor cross section" in AC power cord by doubling just the hot conductor
and how about the smaller than either live conductors for safety gnd wire

relatively open braid looks good too on something sold to reject RF coupling

I would love to see a white paper on the skin filtering principle, I don't see it. I also like the comment that something like 12/2 Romex does not have a characteristic impedance.

Maybe those cables use top-secret military stealth technology. If they told you that, they would have to kill you. They stealthily remove $595 (eeek!) per cable from your wallet but they are so generous that they offer a quantity discount.

If my professors had not taught me any physics, and my parents had not taught me to be honest, I could be an awful lot richer.

Completely handmade, hand-soldered, hand-assembled, tested, and personally cared for, the LessLoss DAC 2004 MkII is an almost completely non-distorting masterpiece of sound electrical engineering. It is the best our knowledge allows us to create.
This from their DAC 2004 page, as the DAC has SMD parts (I would hope) I would be rather worried at the hand soldering side of things. Again it comes down to the desire for handcrafted, even when it is likely to be inferior to machine made...

Does make one wonder how to interpret "personally cared for" ?

(Nowadays, the fastest way to become awful rich is by lack of a brain, but having parents teach how to fabricate a sex tape. The fastest way to become poor again is by having a brain, plus the burning desire to watch those without on tape)

Well, they did increase it. Just not all the current carrying conductors...

The safety ground only has to be large enough to guarantee that the breaker can be cleared and the chassis voltage doesn't exceed lethal levels in the event of a fault.

(but don't tell then that).

Now, even I know how to hand solder SMT. (toaster oven) But, SMT has big advantages in: 1: that what the parts come packaged as, 2: Impedance matching on the board. It has a big disadvantage in resistor quality as most are thin film.

Hand made is a serious drawback in electronics as controlling the ESD is very difficult. I would not want my DAC hand built. But then again, I spent 10 years doing failure analysis so I understand board assembly.

This ad does follow the number one rule in advertising: Take your worst attribute and advertise it! Most of us are so stupid, we believe it.

I'm quite amazed by their ability to spin nonsense. This isn't too bad either.

It is irrelevant because good interconnects work perfectly well as they are, but it isn't complete nonsense. I am not going to spend too much thinking it through, but this setup would seem to reduce cable capacitance and depending on the termination of the 'tunnel' (does it carry current or just voltage?) inductance as well. However, there will be coupling between signal and tunnel, so any distortion in the clone will stamp itself on the signal. Therefore probably not a very good idea, but not complete nonsense either imo.

I'm sorry but I have read the link and cant get my head round any of it, it seems complete and utter BS, the usual mixture of some factual information surrounded by complete and utter rubbish.
In this way, the original signal in the Tunnelbridge doesn’t see any relationship to ground.
This was my favourite quote, how does the return current flow then one wonders.
This is up there with the Blackbody references on that site.

Not in audio, but in car maintenance, the entire nitrogen in tire sham. It is their answer to esoteric cables.

Sir, are you actually saying that you would trust the lives of your loved ones to tires inflated with only 78% nitrogen. Those bulky and reactive oxygen molecules could be wreaking havoc...not to mention the really porky carbon dioxide fraction. Lord knows what ill effects could be wrought by the anti-social argon atoms. Oh, the horrors!!
