Here is my ampli has 2 audio ways with 2 ECL 805, the plan of the assembly , l together made with elements of recoveries(recyclings), only, the transfomateur torique is new.
J have to copy on l ampli ECL 82 and ECL 86 for etre the best adapted, l ampli go out 5 W under 1000 hertzes is 8 ohms, he works well between 300 and 18 000 hertzes, down transformers are not well of has their conceptions

yes , it is the " EY 88 " , use to 235 V= and 100 mA for 2 ECL 805 😉

I guess it sounds much better in "full-triode" than in pentode mode without any kind of negative feedback.

PS: Have you tried to include the OT secondary in the cathode circuit for local feedback? It might help your frequency response a little.
