Capacitor type

Hey guys,

I've blown a capacitor on a project I'm working on, and I've at a loss to source a replacement, as I'm not sure what to get.

Can anyone tell me what sort I need? Obviously 10uF, but what else?

That's a tantalum capacitor. You need to figure out the voltage across it and pick the proper rating that will handle the surge and operating temperature.

Awesome. I know what voltage the circuit runs at so I can probably guess that.

The C letter means 16V
