Howdy beachboys and girls.
I came across some more caps then I possibly can use for myself so I thought I might rig something standard for you guys, like for the normal Pass or lower voltage sandy amp builds to maybe simplify things for the builder.
Its new Jamicon 6800 uF 35 V 105 degr standard caps that would make a fairly good ESR in banks of for example six per C.
My idea is to make connected banks for C-R-C or C-L-C of like 6 per C (40 800 uF) mounted on plexi or something that is easy to produce some doezens of in a serie.
I'm thinking maybe a first C per channel on one plexi plate (2*6 caps) and one identical that can be mounted with 6 mm spacers between the plexiplates. Then some connections for R's or L's between the plates and it would make a filter at the size of aprox H100*L100*W80 mm (plus inductors if one wants big L's ofc).
That would make some 15 bucks of caps (which I bought them for, like 35-40 cents each on a sale), some plexi, soldering wire and connections.
Should I try fix something and rig a "GB", do you think it would be helpful? If so, what is prefered physical design, values etc for you guys?

+-40mF for a single channel of a power amp sounds about right if it is ClassA, or 4ohm ClassAB.
Now you need to source caps for the other channel/s.

Yea, double if plus and negative supply. A SoZ or alike will only need one. Thanks!
