How you have connected the Zapfilter 2 (DAC Balanced Voltage output or Balanced Current output) ?
I suggest to you eliminate the resitor I/V 80ohm and use as voltage.
I have it set up for balanced current, with bubbles 1,3,4,5,7 closed on zapfilter and the 4 jumpers installed on the dac end.
Looks like I need to change the bubbles to 2, 4, 6 on zapfilter and remove the 4 dacend jumpers for balanced voltage.
Does removing the jumpers take the I/V resistor out of the circuit?
I want to let it run it a little more, and spend some more time listening before I make changes, maybe I will try it this weekend.
Randy
I did a quick check of the jumpers, after thinking about it, it didn't seem right to add them for current out.
The jumper adds a 22 ohm resistor to ground, for each output (L-, L+, R-, R+).
Seems like I should remove jumper for I out?

hi!
if you need DAC run at V-out, you not use 4 jum. you see?
If need DAC run at I- Out, need use 4 jum!
thanks
Hello
Did You send my DAC ?
I sent rest of the money 10 days ago.
i see, i say some member need chassis and transformer i sent later,
dac of you i will sent next to day, thanks

Can anybody explain what this meant ?
This evening I have tested the following configurations with a my friend with lot of experience on audio reprodution and recording.
1) Actual op-amp module (balanced with passive IV 10ohm)
2) Satri design (balanced not suggested because it does not work good on balanced circuit)
3) Raleigh Audio Line Stage clone with K & K Audio Basic CCS modules (balanced current mode with passive IV 10ohm)
4) Un-balanced direct connection in voltage mode with only 2.2uF Z-Cap capacitor (0.1uF bypass MKP1837 as option)
5) Lundahl LL1684 (balanced in voltage mode with OS-CON)
The last is the best.
Any idea how well a LL1527 would work instead of the LL1684?
I don't doubt the 1684 is better, but I can get the 1527 for much less, and I have a limited budget.
Randy
Quanghao,
Wow!, and you still have time to organize and build a group buy! Congrats...

Hi guys, halo, congratulations you got the DAC and run it.
The remaining friends, including the DAC + power transformer ....
I need to do the following to ensure the transportation and the best for you.
I am alone, just the kids just do these things, but very hard but fun:
1. all mounting screws on the bottom
2. installed power transformers
3. mounting screws on the front
4. installation screen controller
5. DAC board assembly and packaging shell +
You see attached picture
Thank you all for your trust.
A dac running is a pleasure for me!
i see, i say some member need chassis and transformer i sent later,

Any idea when the chassis will be ready ? I'll sent my remaining payment once you confirm it.
BTW, do Vietnam Post provide tracking number. I don't mind to wait as long as it is traceable.
Thank you

I want to say is: You will get complete product, you just enjoy the music. Please see pictures for better understanding!
Thank you!

Hello Qhanghao,
What are DC currents consumption on 9v supply and 15v-0-15v supply ?
Br
Jacky
what is mean,
If you need DC out +15 V - 0- -15V, need transformer have AC = 18-0-18
Here some info about currents consumption

Hello Quanghao,
I will wait to receive my kit to measure DC currents, because I'll put the power supply in an other chassis (three DACs in the same box !).
