Hi all,
I currently have the X1 feeding the X250 driving a pair of DIY sealed speakers that are about 86db effeciency. At times, rare, will I ever top out the X250. But that is playing it LOUD! For usual listening, I am just barely moving the meter ont he 250. My question is, would going to the 350.5 be a beneficial upgrade, giving the price difference (free since I have the 250 already) or $11k on the 350.5, even if I sold the 250 (maybe get about $2400), it's still a huge cost difference.
I was thinking that going to the 350.5 with more Class A (40 wpc peak) would benefit me better for my low listening levels.
Opinions?
Thanks in advance!

that's question which can be replied only by your self and , just partially , by Pa
that is true...but I can't just buy it to try it out, unfortunately...
X250 to X350.5
In every case all X.5-amplifiers are a big improvement compared to older models.
But: how about a XA100.5; I estimate its output power beyond class A for at least 150W.
