Build the one suggested in post #2.

The one shown in post #6 is a mess.

For the #2 one, you can get the +/-30V or thereabouts (it's not that critical, higher is better) from your power amp ... which of course I guess is not a Tube one.

By the way, I have commercially sold such tube buffers , under the brand name "Valvulizer" (tm) for those who insist on having some orange glow in their amps ... but I consider them a scam (yes, my own too). :(
 
I can answer that one: raise cathode resistors, R3 and R31 to 15K or 22K.
As I said earlier, the higher the voltage the better.
I used rails between +/-42V and +/-70V for what basically is the same circuit.

That tube (or most others) will be *really* happy with 160V (total) voltage or higher, so any step you take in that direction is fine.
