pitures for posterity...

Dear Tony, Your creations are in the heaven for the posterity.
They are exactly the same I like to get for my system. Color, valves and topology.😀

Cassiel, I like your amps, too. Unique woodwork, use of the toothed gear. The recessed tubes with the clear end treatment is a great idea now that I have young granddaughters, too -- not easy to touch, yet visible to a taller person.

Thanks for taking the risk on the artful design. I hope to try some unusual and artful work as well. You're an inspiration.

Wow, those are very nice words. I wanted to do something not yet seen, something beautiful and at the same time practical - your words describe it very well.

The design took me a lot of thinking, so I'm glad someone may benefit from it.

now playing.....2A3 SET, 3 watts output driving my US Audio 90db floorstanders...
D3a triode wired at about 10mA plate current.....
the 2A3 operates with 250volts plate and 60mA cathode for a tube dissipation of 15watts producing a little over 3watts output power....
