I have been running a aikido octal with 6sn7gt's @ 17ma per section with good results, this Chinese slp-90 I just built sounds great pushing the dcpp, But im building a marantz clone to test also.
Awesome stuff, I'm getting started on these kind of amps... there a lot of cool ideas here. Thanks for sharing.

Cassiel, I like your amps, too. Unique woodwork, use of the toothed gear. The recessed tubes with the clear end treatment is a great idea now that I have young granddaughters, too -- not easy to touch, yet visible to a taller person.

those are dapper grey ones....they may look the same but used different set of tubes and not one are identical as far as tube complement goes...😀

Tony: I must make myself one one day. Nice simple build. I'm currently have 300B, 807 and 6EM7 amps in constant use. But a 2A3 would roof about the collection.
Most of my amps range from 2.5W to 5.8W but I'm about to make an 171-A amp of 0.5W. Wish me luck.
I hope in this opportunity Our French partner from this forum can disguise the poor combination of colors and shapes.
