If you're certain it's a 5" driver and that these loudspeakers will mount and fit correctly, I suppose you could try one of these:

Fostex FF125WK
Tang Band W5-1611SAF

I haven't heard either of these, but they should work fine. I'd be inclined to go with the Fostex, as I personally don't care for plastic. I'd also try stuffing some damping material in the enclosure behind the speaker, if possible. Good luck. :)

The W5 is an excellent choice if put in a cabinet designed for it, but be prepared for a very poor alignment if you stick it into that radio. I can't imagine that there's more than 1/2 liter of volume inside that enclosure, perhaps even less, so I predict you'll get a fat midbass peak centered around 300Hz followed by a rapid dropoff in bass after 200hz. There's nothing to do about it; that's physics.

I can imagine finding out the amplifier specs difficult with this, however i would look at getting a 2way (coaxial) driver for this so that high frequencies are nice and crisp. they all usually have their own internal crossovers so it should be easy to install.

Remember, the bigger the magnet (in this case) the smaller the enclosure, so be prepared to lose some bottom end!

I hope you find what you are looking for!
