nice picture, I like it
with 6 sets of final transistors, this TEF B500 can be used to encourage Faboulus 18'' which assembled at 4 Ohm?
thanks

hi miles, what do you thing about using of 2 transformator in series like this

sorry not in series but in parallel

Just Use in serius,
18v to 47v using two Oki 10amp transofrmer.
Conect 18v from Oki 1 to 47 volt Oki 2 and Use it As CT.
Dont forget to Use HI voltase capasitor, im using reysen 10000uf/100v in serius and parallel configuration.
Goodluck

18v and 47v using two Oki 10amp transformer (ignore the CT).
Conect 18v from Oki 1 to 47 volt Oki 2 transformer and Use it As CT.
So you will get 18+47 x2
So the pin will be 18, CT and 47 from the second transformer.
Dont forget to Use HI voltage capasitor, im using rayden 10000uf/100v in series and parallel configuration.

Dear sir apex....just wanna say thx for sharing your design in to the diy comunity, 2days ago i just finish build this super clean amp and the sound is so cristal clear! I cant event heard any noise came out from the speaker. This is super! Cant wait to try H900.
Thx again mile.

Why not? this is how its look:
Few things need to be done:
1.Replace 680R with 1kohm Trimpot to adjust bias (i still heard crossover distortion when i use signal generator from my iPad).
2.Speaker Protector and Zobel 10uh,10ohm Resistor
3.Balanced Input
4.Subwoofer amp. i plan to use another b500 or HV230 as sub amp.
5.Add thermal protection.
thx again sir mile...this is the best amp I've ever build.

i'll try to understanding that, can you share the diagram connection of those 2 tranformer?

@ Gassanov, how much power are you thinking about for sub?
Have you had a look at Mr Apex's Class D amp,
Maybe good idea, and needs less heatsinking.

@vostro...thx for your sugestion.
I need At least twice the power of b500, maybe 500watt @ 8ohm is enough.
To be honest i dont like class d topology, mixing audio signal with square wave, its like a dithering technique in computer DAW for converting hi bit depth to lower bit depth...its sims fake to me. I know class d Efficiency is higher than class ab and also less heat, but class H seems more Efficient to me. Do you have any other suggestion?
Thx B4.

Thx again sir mile.
Do you have sugestion for bias trimmer? which resistor i should changes? 680 or 330?
I realy need fine addjusment here to get rid of those crossover distortion. Maybe adding 1kohm trimmer series to 220ohm like you did in SR50 studio reffrence monitor is ok to B500?
Thx B4
