I have problems both to believe in this and also to actually hear it - old ears!?
Sound of missing LEDs? Well, I am open minded. If someone hear this, fine! But it is easy to be fooled.
And I agree with Papa that the semiconductors are the important parts, the good resistors is the spice on the dish. (OK, LEDs are semiconductors...
But do not let me hinder you drilling holes in your FW amplifiers etc

John Curl speaks against them, calling them RF devices, but i leave it to you to decide. I think I am personally limited in my abilities more than the LED is limiting the sound.
didn't yet (though I have it)
poking trough Star Trek lately
Uncle can recite every line of that stuff. I assume you think Galaxy quest is the best one I was/am a star wars guy. I tihnk you will like Life of Pi. Very interesting ending.
back Ot,
LED's rock!
Ah..the wisdom of the librarian....
I've just followed the rickmcinnis link and there were a couple of things that caught my eye:
1. what is non-magnetic stainless steel made of?
2. anybody got an angle on audiophool fuses?
sultry maidens in a bath of snake oil....now that I'd be interested in!

Try using ceramic fuses instead of glass, particularly in low-current, front-end gear.
It makes a surprising difference. (Someone will undoubtably say- Yeah, because the contacts are cleaner on new fuses!)
I've tried from glass to ceramic to ACME to HI-FI Tuning Gold to HIFI-Tuning Supreme fuses.
They do make a difference. Too bad they are designed to POP!
V~
We should not pooh-pooh those who hear differences between fuses and all sorts of strange things. It could be something behind it. Or could not.
But I believe more in well designed amplifiers and loudspeakers, and one should not forget the listening room's impact of course. What is wrong with these cannot be healed with exotic fuses, bypassing speaker terminals, turning off LEDs and so on. But maybe some of it could be the icing of the cake....?

I know the J2 has a really good bass, but the microscopic details it can do and the insane mixture of relaxedness and sparkle ....all unheard, what a pity.....
When I heard it I forgot the LEDs....
Fortunally I have a balanced F4 which do even better in these areas

Wi impasse driving, correct. I can imagine it is a great combo. I don't doubt some tweaks help and don't doubt j2 does great bass. Just looking for some level of other info. I never cease to be amazed at the different sounds that can come from the same amp as well as different amps.

I heard only normal F4 clone and I like it...
But original J2 is unforgettable for me.....
