I got some 70's ones with blacker anodes that the Ukranian guy told me were best specimen. They got a rocket sign on them.
So you substituted all those resistors in the build and listening with your matched tubes already?

Have the power to ear a lot of more details: guitar, piano, voices, is really other level, is pure emotion and heart, vocal jazz is like you are there when Ella is singing, I don't have words to express all the big upgrade done with these tubes, surely when I refurbish mine Jadis JA80 I will substitute the 12AX7 for these incredible tubes.

Yes I know, I bought two tubes super matched pair, now I have in the preamp one metal base 6H8C/6N8S without hole plate & one metal base 6H8C/6N8S with hole plate, that's was also a big improvement vs 6H8C/6N8S Foton.
