Been reading this thread for the last few days, I think one on the best threads I have ever followed. Has anyone got experience of BUNKER BPD-1 Processor http://sound4us.elementfx.com/ I like the look of this processor, though not sure if its processing speed and quality is what I need for home audio, in a 4 way active system. At the moment I am using a TOA V141, which is limited to preset frequencies for each driver, and only has a choice of 12dB/18dB filtering.
I like the look of this processor, ...
Sorry, but this made me laugh.

Why is one of the first thing that we judge audio equipment on is the way it looks? Is that even relevent?

"I like the look of this" used casually might also have no reference to it's physical appearance.

I was going to say the same thing.
yes, its true if you play very loud
but coppertop only mentions better bass
No, I didn't mention bass. I'm referring to the overall sound.
Semantics.
Here in the UK many words are used interchangeably, it all depends on context. Sometimes we might saying something looks good if it tastes, sounds or even feels good, what you might call a feeling or hunch.
I don't generally judge equipment according to looks rather according to the satisfaction it gives, which is surely the whole point of the excercise. I have been building, modifying and designing speakers and other stuff for 40 years, and have been building active speakers systems for 30 years from scratch, including professional sound systems, most of which do not look that perfect but sound rather good to me. My oldest son has been living and working in the States for years now, whenever he comes to stay I find myself using American English the way he now speaks, believe me the differences in language take some getting used to! 🙂

I grew up in ChiTown ... southsider (around Kelley HS). If I ever make a run for polish sausage and TomTom tamales, maybe we can hook-up 😛
I'm in northern Lake County, so it's even easier.

I understand what you meant now and appologize for misunderstanding.

No problem, actually my English gets a bit confused at times partly because on my Irish side of the family we have a different way of saying things, sometimes starting with the end of a subject and ending with the beginning!😀
And now we have a thread about the pros and cons of alcohol consumption.
Inebriation vs. Sobriety.

No, it's just that many cons consume alcohol. It can lead to trouble. (see Cops)
EDIT: All this talk is making me thirsty. I'll join yo in a bourbon, Doc. There is some Maker's Mark "46" right here. Mmmmmm......
