Good!
But I think the others are lazy DoDonots!🙄
Hope they (Lorenz drivers) show promise enough to have a pair of good boxes made.🙂

those are ER 12" drivers
in fact , for my hearing (ZM is older than Dodo) they're FR
anyway - I still didn't hear anything (comparably by both size and philosophy ) from any other factory even close to them
these ARU-ed 70L boxes are most probably just temporary housing for them
they deserve best , so I'll made that one day, even if as just sport activity

That's what I am going to try for 2226. GM calls it TQWT. I asked him about MLTL and he said above .5qts horn, .4-.5qts MLTL, and <.4qts TQWT. Of course high About amp helps increase Vb. Hmmm, where do I find an amp like that😀
wakooyank
too much of Le , if you ask me
at least comparing to All Technical Division counterparts

I told ya , if ya wanna speed .........

I know. Wife said I had to make decision. 2226 was easiest to get. The TD 15M has lower MMS and vanishing Le. It will be next try. Then I go 416. Dunno why. Probably just subconscious decision to keep playing😀
Custom variovent. Nice! GM gave me a little Tqwt to try with 2226h, then told me he prefers ALtec
I cant win.

He's a good man that GM 🙂

you are going to use 600W speaker for home , with 25W amp ?
don't cry later that no-one told ya .......
those JBL's are killer in humpingjumping place , but for home you need something more agile
515B is faster than manymany mid drivers ....... and 416 isn't far from that

you're disqualified from correspondence .......
not because of mentioning Good Man GM , but because I hate ya

wakooserb,
As I've mentioned to the buzzdude...
416 = better bass
515 = better vocals
Call Bill H. and ask what he would do. I hear the new drivers from GPA are good.

The 3154 and 3156 seem to show promise depending on what you want to do.

Ah crap
Got that out of the way. just caus eit can do 600W, doesnt mean it has too....unless you are saying it wants to be pushed that hard. Could always put speaks int he window and listen outside
515 is enticing, but is $1000. 414 is chcepaer, but nobody really pushes them much and I really want to do the big thing. CAl, you suggested a guitar version of Altec speaker as possibly having best mids. Some bouys on jbl forum also have a tendency to lean towards guitar speaks. K140, K130, E145. Of these, K130 seems to be most nimble based on specs. E145 has very good rep as being fast,crisp, and articulate. Any experience. THis is both horrible and wonderful. I wonder if I could sell......
