My 14 month old daughter dented the tweeter of my encore (center channel). Specifically the donut around the dome (the part that flexes when the dome moves). Anyway, i'm looking to possibly replace that driver. Is it possible, or worth it to replace it with an even better driver?
It sure would be fantastic if i could find a tweeter that better matched the sonics of my L/R speakers (Paradigm S6 v2). 😀

Danny from Speaker kits, loudspeaker design services, sub-woofers and amplifiers. can provide a tweeter as he designed that speaker.
replacing the tweeter with another will be a crap shoot. it will require a new crossover to be correct.

Better tweeter means crossover rebuild with exactly same job as done at the stage of design of your speaker. Is it possible, or worth it to replace it with an even better driver?

Matching to your Center to L/Rs is mean that freq+phase response of Center should match L+R = again, same job as at the design stage of all 3 speakers.
