ciao.

since this is a basically diy forum..
am not 100% sure i can ask this REQ. here..

but anyway.. here it goes.:

i have a Tanberg Sølvsuper 10. from around 68.
integrated tube** amp.. i belive.
i have looked everywhere for some good info on it..
but i had bad luck on it.. (beside the info. page on NRHF.
which gives as good as nothing..)
http://www.nrhf.no/T'ss-10-71.html

somebody knows more about it..
my ** do refer to the fact that am told
that this is the last of the sølvsuper series
that used tube driven output stage..

some says the riaa.. R2R stages.. bypass the tubes..
and are transistors..

what gives.. some help is much appreciated..

😉

Hi,

Ah, you mean Tandberg😉

DIY is both building from scratch and messing with manufactured equipment....

This is an interesting old beast, but as far as I can see, has the worst of both worlds:
A valve RF tuner, and a transistor amp:xeye:
ECC85 = VHF /FM Front-end
ECH81 = AM front-end
EF89 = IF Amp
EM84 = Magic Eye
16 transistorer = Amplifier

Nice to see it was available in both colours😀

ahh. that was about what i thought..

the sound is actualy very.. very good..(tubish)
but then again i haven`t been able to use the riaa..
nor the R2R/tape.. coz of the blimey DIN. sockets..
i did forget that i have the schematic for TS.10
(very bad scan.. and to big to upload..)

well. if i should "dump" into some tanberg oldie line..
i should maybe focus on theese.:

i just fancy them.. and i do collect a bit.. to.

Hi.

Trondhjemmer writes to You here.

What's the trouble with DIN-connections?
Any radio-shop has buckets of good adaptors to use here.
And if You don't find it there home, just PM me and I'll help you.
