Interesting Scientific paper examining spring isolation.

The following paper is an effort to design a passive vibration isolation solution for the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory.

I don't completely follow the math, but I do appreciate the thinking behind the effort to combine materials/ constrained layer damping and spring design.

I hope that it stimulates some minds here also.

Yep. Silly of me to think that we might be interested in any new developments on the isolation front.
