Am in the process of freshening up a Pioneer SA-9900 amp and need a few screws for some of the panel work.

Sometimes you can find random screw boxes at flea markets, etc. Take what you think you need and try them out. Most vintage amplifiers use the same kinds of screws for the chassis. I think they might be M3 or something similar.
Thanks, but we don't have that sort of market in the UK. I'm looking for genuine, original Pioneer parts and wondered if there was some Pioneer parts guru company in the US ?
I would beg to differ ! 😉 They seem to have their own style of screw head, especially on the more prominant panels.
What I'm after is a specialist supplier of Pioneer spare parts, someone who has accumulated clear outs of NOS parts.
Probably more likely to be found in the US that anywhere due to the volume of Pioneer sold there in the 70's.
If such a supplier doesn't exist I'll resort to refurbing the existing screws, but I would prefer to avoid that due to the time involved, or I may even buy a scrap or spares and repairs cheaper model amp to get the parts.
But still, A photo of what you are after would help us suggest an alternative.

that was correct ..Pioneer and all related cousins akai or national or technics and sansui use specific style of screws and only certain sizes ....
Yamaha for example is another story
sooner or later i am going to go shopping in Japan and i will let you know ....Also if the amount is small and you can post pictures of what you want i might have some of them in my shop
