I'm looking to buy a 2 channel IRS2092 amp that drives 4R, and I've settled (for now) on the IRAudAmp7 design. There are two options for me to buy it: Connexelectronic and zoe_tsang on ebay.

Is there any difference between the two? I'd like to get 300W output on each channel, which will cost me $100 + S&H (400W) at Connexelectronic and $64 incl. S&H on ebay. That $40 difference is enough to buy a power supply and most of a transformer.

that from ebay looks ok, might even work great...unless someone that has it already, can't give you much help... not a lot of money IMO

Hi there! I actually just got the amp a couple days ago. I opted for this one (eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices) mainly due to price, but also because its distortion levels are within my operating wattage. After about 200W, the distortion spikes dramatically, making it pretty useless after that. If you need more wattage, buy from Cristi (Connex rep) as his amps go up to 600W. I'd ask for distortion curves just in case, though.
Experience with both sellers is great. I bought the amp from LJM (zoe_tsang) and the power supply from Cristi. Both are frequents at this forum so I've found communicating via private message is more effective than emailing through their website.
I'll be soldering the amps this weekend and hooking everything up hopefully by Wednesday next week. Apparently there was a little snafu with customs when the amp was shipped, so it's taking a little longer than usual.
One thing that is great about the LJM amp is that it comes with the necessary screws and standoffs to attach it to the case. I'd Cristi's power supply and amps do as well, but it was nice to find them in there since getting the right size can be a PITA sometimes.
EDIT: I should note that the amp I linked to above is exactly the same as the amp I linked to in my first post, just split into two boards.

zoe tsang is the same person as LJM?
I thought he was just a seller LJM's designs, like along1986090; for example

Perhaps that is the case. I thought they were the same person. Apparently not!
Anyway, I soldered them all up and they worked fine, except that I never got to test my subs. There was a lot of noise from my SMPS, so I rewired everything with shielded wire and when I rewired the power connections to the amp, I accidentally switched GND and -V, shorting the amp and blowing the IRS2092 chip. So woohoo, I get to replace those chips. I'll let you know how they go once I'm done. Why can't anything just go correctly for once... 🙁
Thank god for fuses on Cristi's SMPS, though. That would be an expensive thing to replace as I blew the fuse when I shorted the amp.
