Two stage tube phono preamp
Two stage tubecad tube preamp. Russian PIO inter-stage caps and Sprague RIAA comp.caps. Separate PS and preamp powered by 24VAC wall wart. Linear PS develops 295V. All built on veroboard no PCB. Excellent sounding. Also to use a MC cartridge I have built a Le Pacific jFET pre-pre.

Le Pacific pre-pre for MC
My build of the Le Pacific pre-pre was contained on a single piece of veroboard with battery pack. I matched the 2SK170 BLs. Output caps are Russian PIO. Same caps as use on the tubecad tube preamp in an earlier post. This pre-pre has been designed to work with the tube preamp which uses the same caps. It got cramped in the case but sounds excellent. Very pleased with both the Tube preamp and the Le Pacific pre-pre for MC.

Pretty standard EL-84 UL push-pull amp. I have used Russian tubes tubes throughout (6n1p and 6p14p-ev) running around 360V. I was tired of drilling aluminum plates, so I brushed off my junior high shop skills to bend some acrylic.
Nice, the smooth bends suit a tube amp nicely. Screams 50's. Very vintage looking!
Yes the rocket launcher gets them every time. That's a bread board KT120 with interchangeable driver section. It drivers a pair of KEF iQ30s.Mhouston,

My first Tube Amp working at low Voltage of
24Vcc.
The output power is about 2W @ 8 ohm.
I used one PL504 and one 12FQ7 (ECC82/83 are also OK)

Hey pilovis, I see you care for audiophile grade parts. 🙂 Also, feeding that big tube with only 24V is going to make him angry - good for hard rock.
