Wondering with the First Watt stuff what is Papa's favorite Altec speaker system?
I just might DIY though as the A7 won't fit in the door.

dunno ;
as he said few times - their fave oldie these days is Tannoy 15" coax ;I didn't remember which model exactly .
Pa owned A7 somewhere in the past ; it seems he choose sissy speakers in later times

I had a nice pair of what they call M500's in Japan. I ran them through
an auto paint shop for the nicest looking gray finish you could ask for.
😎
BTW, I would also suggest a pair of Frazier "Super Texans" I had a pair, added T350s on top and they were outstanding. There was an even larger Frazier, the "Californian" but almost impossible to find. I always found that, aside from the co-axials, the two-way horn loaded systems needed a top end boost. Regards
